America's full history, and why Obama is bad (long article)

The first settlers of America came here from England, a place that was in the midst of religious & political conflict, where with every single King or Queen the state religion would change from Protestant to Catholic and vice-versa, and would persecute the other religion, the pilgrims had enough of the state of England by the early part of the 1600's, so they left there for Virginia - but ended up in Massachusetts, they were the first Americans fleeing a Monarchy of "big Government" for the freedom of something.

Nearly a hundred and fifty years later, the British were opposing huge taxes on the American colonies, and had a standing army in Boston making it virtually a military state, this led to the battle of Lexington-Concord which the Patriots won with ease, which led to the battle of Bunker Hill - which overall the British won, but the Patriots showed they could compete with the best military in the world. A year later, the Declaration of Independence was written by Thomas Jefferson & signed by the delegates at the second Continental Congress in Philadelphia, it was the founding of a free nation - and also a death warrant, as all signers of the Declaration knew if the war was lost - they would be hanged as traitors.

Nearly 15 years later, the United States Constitution was being signed & the Bill of Rights were created to ensure American rights, the first Constitution failed, but the second one succeeded giving Americans the right to bear arms, freedom of speech, freedom of expression, freedom of press, the right to a jury of peers, and several other important rights - this document would lead the way for so many other nations becoming a Constitutional Republic.

About 20 years later, Britain was pissed, pissed at the United States, because the United States was a growing country with a succeeding economy & trade prospering, the British started to force Americans into the British Navy - and when they attacked a United States Naval Base attempting to retrieve 7 "so called British deserters" - that was the last straw for the American people, as the War of 1812 began, this war really did not give any side a victory, but it did forever prove America was a free & independent nation forever - it also paved the way for the American industry boom.

20 Years later, Texans were in a full out war against Santa Anna - the self proclaimed dictator of Mexico, see after Mexico gained its Independence from Spain, they sought to attract immigrants to their new land - Norte Mexico or Texas, so they invited 600 American families to come to the country - many came, along with Sam Houston. The Texans had many problems with Indian attacks so Mexico gave them a few cannons, in 1832 Santa Anna declared himself Dictator & burned the Mexican constitution, and sought to retrieve the cannons that they had given the Texans.

The Texans, were not pleased that the Mexicans were attempting to take their weapons, and war started - the Mexicans had the upper hand through-out most of the war, but after the battle of the Alamo & the massacre of Goliad - the Texans were inspired, and defeated Santa Anna's army in a matter of 18 minutes in the final battle, and Santa Anna surrendered Texas for his life.

Thus, through the pursuit of rights, the republic of Texas was created.

About 15 years after the Texas Revolution, Santa Anna decided to take Texas back.....which led to the American-Mexican war.......which led to adding the entire Southwest into the United States.........and James K. Polk being known as the President who added the most land ever in the United States in one term. This war ended the rule of Santa Anna.

10 Years later, America was divided and could not stand together, as the South wanted slavery, the North being led by the newly formed Republican party believed that all persons were created equal, Abe Lincoln was elected as president, and the Civil War began. This would be the worse war ever for America, has brother vs. brother would be fighting, each side had an equal desire for victory for their own political beliefs & hatred for each side. After 4 bloody years, Grant & Sherman led the Union to victory - America was restored as a united country, sadly Abe Lincoln was assassinated after proposing voting rights for black Americans.

Over the next 50 years or so, America was very neutral in the world only getting involved in the Spanish-America war, which was short lived, and led to the astonishing patriotic knowing of Teddy Roosevelt. America had many self conflicts, but overall she retained all rights ensured in the United States Constitution, Women gained voting rights, capitalist faced a major challenge - but was maintained, America was at peace, that is until the year of 1914.

In the year 1914, about 5 different countries declared war on one-another, starting the first world war, as Russia-Britain-and France were fighting Austria & Germany, after Russia backed out because they underwent the Bolshevik revolution (the beginning of Communist Russia), Germany put all of its resources against France - to the point of nearly taking over the capital, the United States to that point was a nation that mostly kept to its own affairs, accept when it came to their own part of the world. Well Americans wanted to support Britain & France, so while shipping supplies to their allies a German submarine attacked a ship killing over 1,000 people, including 100+ Americans - which led to American involvement in the United States, and progressive President Woodrow Wilson went to the point of imprisoning those who spoke out against the war.

America & the allies would end up driving Germany to surrender, ending the "war to end all wars".

1930s : economic great depression, that effected the whole world, but the United States remained in it longer then anywhere else in the world because of FDR'S new deal policies, the depression would be ended with another big war.

In the year 1938, World War 2 began, with Hitler invading Poland, and as always several countries declaring war against one another :

Axis Powers - Italy, Germany, Japan

Allies - Britain, France, USA (in 41), Russia (towards the end of the war)

America helped supply the allies as in the first world war, but did not want to enter into another long war with Germany, France fell quickly to Germany as did the rest of Europe, Britain was next on the radar but they would never give up, on the other side of the world Japan launched a massive air attack against US Naval bases on December 7Th 1941, which led to the USA declaring war on Japan, Germany declaring war against the United States, and Americas involvement in both the Europe & Pacific theaters of battle.

In Europe, General Eisenhower led a brilliant battle plan, of attacking Germany through the northern part of Africa, then leading a joint allied attack against the Germans in France, at Normandy beach on D-Day, over 1 million men stormed the beach of Normandy, which would lead the liberation of Paris - and France. The long fight would lead all the way into Berlin, and with the help of Russia - Germany was defeated, Hitler committed suicide, and the Europe part of fighting was over, then the devastation of Germany was disclosed - the inhumane treatment of Jews was exposed.....

In the Pacific, the United States main plan through-out the entire fighting there was to be in reach of Japan to bomb her into submission, after four years of intense fighting & island hopping, President Truman released two nuclear bombs against Japan - which ended War World 2, but started the rise of Russia as the communist superpower and America has the lone defense of freedom.

3 Short years later, against the advice of all of his Presidential advisers, President Harry Truman supported to creation of the Israeli nation, which faced serious attack after the declaration, but Israel won - and in perhaps the best moment of all of the 1940's, Jews returned to their promised land by God, the feel good story of this era.

About that same time, North Korean communists were looking to take over free South Korea, and after attacking the south Korean side, the United States sent a force to combat communism (see the Truman Doctrine), at first the attempts came at vain with the forces being forced all the way to a small portion of South Korea, but General MacArthur devised a brilliant plan of sending troops to fight behind the Communists then attack from the front side, this worked by driving the North Koreans all the way back past the 38Th Parrnell.

At this point conflict came within the United States, as General MacArthur wanted to attack North Korea - and end communism as a whole in Korea, but President Truman wanted to only liberate South Korea without getting China or possibly the U.S.S.R involved, so he fired General MacArthur which scarred public opinion of President Truman forever. South Korea & North Korea would reach a deal after several years of peace talks, this being the first success of Truman's doctrine, winning the war in South Korea.

Between the 1940's - 1980's, America was in a cold war with the U.S.S.R ( which stand ed for the United Soviet Socialist Republic), the war was deemed "cold" because America and the U.S.S.R never quite engaged in full war with one-another, both sides did fund many small wars - chiefly in Afghanistan, the warmest point of the war that actually involved rising tensions was the Cuban Missile Crisis, as Fidel Castro believed the United States wanted to invade their country and get rid of him as dictator(which is fairly accurate to assume), so he made an agreement with the U.S.S.R to put nuclear missiles in Cuba, pointed directly at the United States, well the USA blockaded Cuba - and an agreement was reached much to Castro's array, no missiles for Cuba - no invasion by America.

The Cold war came at a time of political unrest in America, as a full white vs. black war was raging in parts of the south & north, the liberal movement was moving through America in the 60's which led to the downfall of marriage, the generation of acception for abortions, and many other events that hurt the America that was created, this era also featured many lame duck Presidents :

Lyndon Johnson

Richard Nixon

Gerald Ford

Jimmy Carter

It also featured the gas crisis of the 70's, massive inflation, as well as the celebration of the bi-centennial. In 1980, America elected its most Conservative President since Harry Truman or even perhaps one of the Founding Fathers, Ronald Reagan, this actor made the cut though. Our people were let go from the Iran-Contra affair, Reaganomics was introduced, patriotism was high in America, and Reagan held several conferences with the U.S.S.R president, but he approached the discussions in a way that no other country had ever before :

Lets talk, but I will suspect you of something - something many Presidents before Reagan did not do at all or well.

Overall, the Cold War era ended in the late 1980's with the fall of the Berlin Wall (which was put into action by Reagan's "tear down this wall" speech), America by the end of the 1980's was in a good mood, and heading for a great time of economic growth & prosperity that future President Bill Clinton would inherit.

Also the Cold War contained some of the worlds most exciting achievements ever :

Putting a satellite in space.

Putting a man on the moon.

Putting the first woman in space.

Black Americans gaining freedom.

ETC.

Perhaps Americas biggest defeat in history, the Vietnam war, the beginning of the war had the same exact circumstances as the Korean War, but communist China was to strong for America, and 41,000 Americans died in 7 years of fighting, and several thousand were held captive including current Presidential candidate John McCain, the Vietnam war was a disgrace, but the point behind it was to keep another country free from communism.

In 1991, the United States engaged in war, this time in Iraq against Saddam Hussein, over the country of Kuwait which Saddam had taken over unjustly, the troops of Iraq hardly fought in this war, and it was a major success for the United States, they had the shot of getting rid of dictator Hussein but decided against it.

The rest of the 1990's was known for economic prosperity created during the Reagan administration, it also featured a lame duck Vice President in Dan Quayle, if featured a national disgrace in President with Bill Clinton, and it featured a brutal attack against the Baltic region, killing many Innocent Serbians.

In 2000 & 2004, the Elections were very close, George Bush won both fairly and decidedly, terrorists attacked us in the form of cowardliness, in attacking the United States Pentagon & the Twin Towers on September 11Th 2001, in the first attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor - and the first attack against the North American Continent since World War 2 as well (there was fighting in Alaska during World War 2), in result NATO declared war against the traitors who did this, we are now engaged in wars in Afghanistan & Iraq, in Iraq we have all but declared victory - despite much criticism of this war by Democrats. We are currently in a huge economic downfall, due to almost everyone in government - more so the Democrats then the Republicans, regardless of the what the pundits say on CNN, we are also in a cultural war of our Constitutional rights - the fairness doctrine, and abortion & gay marriage.

America has had a great history, hasn't she? She has endured war after war after war, and has always been the victor in one way or another, she has laid the system for capitalism, she has laid the system for Constitutional government which folks in former Soviet states follow so closely, and she has created an ultimate alliance with Israel.

What is my point, Barack Obama could become President of the United States of America, he believes in :

Socialistic economy practices

Abortion, even in the last few months

Surrendering the Iraqi war

Attacking our Allie, Pakistan

Having talks with dangerous dictators in Iran,Venezuela, and Cuba.

He believes we should eliminate trade restrictions with Cuba

He hates the second amendment

Would institute the fairness doctrine, which would eliminate a Conservative voice in America, and ruin AM radio.

Raise taxes on big business, which when taxed cannot produce more jobs

Wants to rid the world of Nuclear weapons, something America needs

Global Warming, which is a hoax.

And, BIG GOVERNMENT.

Did I also mention, he is the most Liberal senator ever to run for President of the United States of America!

And has many say, would turn the United States into the U.S.S.A - United Socialistic States of America.

Obama is dangerous, America has faced many challenges in the past, but never so many have been proposed by one man ever as presidential policies, Obama is a vote for everything we have ever defeated in our nations past, a vote for Obama is a vote for the largest government in America since the monarchy ruled!

America has a choice November 4Th, remain a Constitutional based country.........or side with the opposite of American beliefs for 230+ years.
