The beliefs of this issue, of course go by political stance as always in these type of issues, but it is a very simple issue to understand : Talk Radio is 80% Conservative I would say, with great talk show hosts as Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, and Bill O'Reilly. Don't get me wrong, Liberals have attempted several times to get into talk radio - but have failed every single time, Air America has about 30 stations left on their affiliate list - Rush Limbaugh has 200 times that! Liberal radio does not work, because they have control of newspapers, and most television news channels. Liberals want a fairness doctrine, so both sides of the argument have to be heard, which in all simple terms would lead to the last source of Conservative opinion & talk being split in half - in otherwards gutting the first amendment which specifically states "freedom of press" - damn they have to the Constitution.
Obama has shown anti-talk radio in this election, as he urged his supporters to email and to complain to wgy radio about 2 guests that they would have on, presenting the other side of the argument, that has to tell you something, Barack Obama would sign a fairness doctrine into law without a doubt, which would hurt the United States Constitution - and the last source of Conservative opinion.
In effect, a vote for Barack Obama is a vote for the fairness doctrine.
