My fellow Conservatives,
every 2 years we are called by out elected officials in Washington & in state government to cast votes for the candidates we feel will best perform at the jobs on the ballot, this election is no different, as 35 Senate seats are in play today, 435 House of representative seats are in play today, thousands of states legislature seats are up for grabs today, 11 governor seats are in play, and of course the President of the United States of America's seat is in play.
This election has been long, has thrown many twists, has the most candidates on the ballot then I ever seen before, and could go either way with just a couple of thousand votes in the right state. For President we have two choices :
Senator John McCain of Arizona, a dedicated servant to this country for over 40 years.
Senator Barack Obama of Illinois, a talented young senator.
Both of these candidates have different plans, viewpoints, and beliefs about this great land we call America, here are a few :
War in Iraq :
John McCain has supported the Iraq war since the beginning, and his plan of battle has won the war in Iraq.
Barack Obama has been against the war since the beginning, and has voted several times to provide less funding for the troops. He wants to surrender.
Abortion :
John McCain is a staunch pro-life social Conservative, and has supported the overturning of Roe V. Wade for years, and letting states vote on the issue of abortion.
Barack Obama is a staunch pro-choice Liberal, he has voted against pro-life measures time and time again, and even said this during the election "I don't want them punished with a baby"
Energy :
John McCain has for a long time been a supporter of green energy, including Nuclear & Solar. But he also realizes we need to also use the oil & coal that we have.
Barack Obama has also been a supporter of green energy, but he is not in favour of Nuclear - oil - or as we have learned recently, coal.
Foreign Policy :
John McCain would 1.Not talk to hostile nations of the United States without pre-conditions. 2. Keep the trade embargo on communist Cuba. 3. Will not attack our Pakistani allies - and will support Israel through hell and back.
Barack Obama has said he will meet with the leaders of Iran,Cuba, North Korea without pre-condition, he also wants to lift the embargo on Cuba, and supports meddling into African affairs.
Health care & capitalism :
John McCain is a staunch supporter of capitalistic health care, and does not believe the government should be involved in health care at all.
Barack Obama is a believer in universal health care, a socialistic system that has failed in Canada, Great Britain, Australia, Massachusetts, and Hawaii.
Experience :
John McCain is from a family of admirals, he was a P.O.W who refused to leave Vietnam because he would not leave his men behind, he has served in the United States senate for 26 years, has served his country for over 40 years in full.
Barack Obama has been a politician for almost his entire life, started his political career in the house of un-repented terrorist Bill Ayers, has had only 2 year years experience in the United States Senate, and has spent half of his term running for President.
In overall :
John McCain is far more experience, Conservative, pro-troop, pro-small business, pro-capitalistic, pro-life, pro-energy then Barack Obama.
The choice is clear my fellow Conservatives, for the future of America, for the future of the United States Constitution (good thing I did not go into that), the future of capitalism, the future of all of our children to live in a free & not a big-governmental future.
McCain-Palin 08, my fellow Conservatives
